The Standoff

Yesterday was just another normal day in here in The Ding Dang Woods.

The deer don’t quite know if they should run from us or hop in the car and call the front seat.
(We don’t say shotgun for obvious reasons.)

We Might As Well Call Them Pets

It’s deer season in these parts and since we don’t hunt, and the animals seem to have caught on to that, our property has become a somewhat of a refuge.

I don’t mind, except when they mistake my flower beds for a salad bar,
