Welcome to the Inaugural Perfect Post Awards!
Sometimes as you surf your favorite blogs, you happen upon a post that rocks your world. Maybe you laugh until your sides hurt. Maybe you cry. Maybe you find yourself thinking about it for days afterward. You want to share the post with everyone you know- but how?
Lucinda of Suburban Turmoil and I have been thinking about this and we’ve gathered some friends together to launch the Perfect Post Awards.
On the first day of each month, all participants will give out the award to their favorite post written by another blogger during the preceding month. The “winners” will receive a cool Perfect Post button for that month that they can put on their sites if they wish. Lucinda and I will link on each award day to everyone who’s giving out a Perfect Post award.
This is a chance to read some of the best stuff written each month- and to spread a little warm fuzziness, too. If you’d like to present an award yourself next month, e-mail me or Lucinda and we’ll send you the latest award button code a few days before April 1st, so that you can participate, too!
And now without further adieu, my Perfect Post Award goes to….
Chapter Next ~ Legacy Jennifer constantly captivates me because she not only speaks from her heart, I feel that she speaks from mine. Her words are always a delicious emotional puzzle that I savor deciphering and feel nourished after reading.
This particular post struck me like an arrow through an empty heart. As the tears fell down my cheeks, I found myself answering the last haunting line of her post out loud, “Yes, Jennifer, you are one of the lucky ones.”
It is a post worth reading more than once and it is definitely a most perfect post to me.

i’ll have to make a mental note as i’m reading this month. i do read some amazing stuff, there are real writers out there.
Every post was an excellent read. I was glad to find some new journals I will be adding to my list of daily reading material.

This is a wonderful idea… I love to read new blogs, but since there is never enough time to surf and surf and surf, it is great to be pointed to some of the best entries in some of the best blogs. I read the one your award went to, and it was truly awesome.
