Read and see more pictures from our morning at the tree farm @ Joslyn Place. We had a blast!
And now I want a real Christmas tree. What about you? Real or artificial?

Artificial – no fire hazards, no kitty hazards… no watering… no mess… the only drawback is no yummy smell, but I took care of that with a pine scented candle… :-)
I prefer real, but that doesn’t work in our tiny condo with the cats. I bought a little 2 1/2 foot tall fiber optic tree last week at Walgreens and put it on top of our entertainment center. But can you believe I couldn’t find a pine scented candle at the store? I had to buy an apple-cinnamon one instead. I still think it’s festive!
I used to do real. But living alone, it’s a pain to lug a tree by yourself.
So this year I was going to do artificial, but I have bought 2 different trees, both with broken stands. So I think the Christmas gods are against me.
I think you should and I would love to help you decorate it!
We do artificial because the real ones are too messy – at least the ones on this side of the world.
Your pictures are beautiful. Since snow is a rarity over here in the Southern hemisphere, these kind of pictures never fail to take my breath away.
We have a real tree for the first time in years this year – I love it. The boys went and chopped it down themselves and dragged home the most beautiful 10′ tree I’ve ever seen (thanks to Striblings). We’ve had fakes, but nothing compares to the real thing!
What a gorgeous photo!
Real. Must be real.
That said, I bought a gold tinsel tree on sale a few years ago and it cracks me up. AND, my daughter loves it to pieces – so it’s in her room, shedding gold tinsel everywhere.
