No, I am not kidding you but let’s not put the cart before the horse. We need to talk about this. First and foremost, my animals have issues.
I have a 3yr old 150 pound Great Dane that squats when he goes out to pee. And when you let him back into the house, he wags his tail so hard that he breaks it open and leaves slashes of blood down my white hallways. Also? He poops on the driveway when the grass is wet. Have you seen a pile of Great Dane poop? This is a problem.

My other dog, Kasey, a 12 yr old rescued mutt, is well behaved for the most part. On bad days, she’ll try to dig holes in my leather couch and, oh yeah, she eats money as well as checks if you leave them out. She will forgo the bills and the magazine but eat your $20 birthday check from Nana…now that’s an evil streak.
I’m not sure that Cesar deals with cats but he’d probably have some wise words to share about mine as they are not exempt from acting out. Clyde has a “open” compulsion. If you open anything, a door, a box, a cabinet a washing machine…he HAS to jump in. He cannot help himself.

Max…Max is pretty chill. He is the equivalent to a real life Garfield. He really has a one track mind. FOOD. And because of that, at 18 months old, he weights 16 pounds.

To enter yourself into the drawing for a chance to win a Family Pack of 4 tickets to see Cesar Millan at the Patriot Center in Virginia on 12/6 tell me YOUR biggest pet issue.

My dog has issues – he barks incessantly at falling leaves, squirrels, anyone who drives up the driveway, and any imaginary squirrels he thinks he sees. He wraps himself around the toilet for no apparent reason. He is sweet and walks well on a leash… But really, imaginary squirrels? I need help!
Pick me…

My dog is a nut. She is great in the dog park but a terror on the leash. She lashes out at other dogs while on walks and has even growled at a kid. She pulls constantly and is always on the lookout for squirrels. She is relaxed around people but terrified of numerous objects, such as umbrellas, brooms, baby gates, thunder, basically anything that could fall and make a loud noise. I just wish she could walk better on her leash so that we could take her and the baby/stroller for enjoyable walks.
I love watching the Dog Whisper shows and have tried to use his techniques. I wish he could just meet Magerk and “rehabilitate her and train me”.
I have a cat that I think needs prozac or something. She goes thru fazes where she cant touch the ground or the floor in the house. She will jump from piece of furniture to furniture and if you toss her on the ground she will spaz out and jump on the nearest thing. When she is in this mood she also has to be on the highest points in the room she is in. She is a pure breed cat a snow lepard bengal and I have never had a cat that talked so much, all the time especially when we get a new pet to the house she will tell you how much she doesnt like it… I’ve never had a cat like this one…
Where to start? I have a neurotic herding dog who’s not got enough to do so he herds my elderly dog, gets frustrated that the old dog won’t respond and then thrashes the old dog.
The old dog is either blind, deaf or totally stupid. He refuses to do anything unless he’s done it before.
Our mutt is fairly normal, now. He was horribly anti-social when we got him.
HOWEVER, we’ve just added a five pound female Min Pin to the household of big hairy male dogs. I’m gonna need some help to keep her from getting eaten.
My cat insists on trying to sleep in the baby’s room. She has never been in there as it was the guest room and she wanted in there when it was the guest room. All she wants to do is sleep on the bed, but we want a cat-free room. She NEVER goes into my 3 yo’s room, just the baby/guest room. Sooooo frustrating.
And she throws up on the carpet nearly every day. Not the tile bathrooms, or the linoleum basement. On our carpets, that we walk on.
This would exceptional as my family just got a PUPPY – who I think is a littlw sad – who never wags his tail. He its EVERYTHING in sight. We have taken him to the vet many times to get xrays on his belly. He takes pepcid daily. Hunter is a little skidish of him as he does not know what to expect from this puppy. So it would help the whole family out.
My Sweet but neurotic dog Chessie
I have the sweetest dog but she loves ME way too much. Not the kids , not the my husband that wanted her and convinces me that to have a dog would give the kids responsilbities. It is me that she has to be close to and if I am not petting her or touching her in some way she will take her paw and encourage me to do so. I is me she comes to for food and to be let out at 2 AM. I have enough responsiblities and I dont need any more.
It is so sweet to be loved so much but I wish she would share the wealth with some of my other family members. Really I would love for Chessie to love one of them as much as she loves me. Do you think that Ceasar could help me with this issue?
My dog is special – we rescued her a little a year and a half ago and she was in sad shape. She was skin and bones and saggy titties because she found with two of her puppies. Her pups were fat and happy and got adopted right away, but she wasn’t so lucky. When we found her, she had been at the shelter for over three months and was not the prettiest pooch to look at. After all, who would want an black pittbull mix with nipples that dragged to the ground?
But my husband and I saw through that and so happen to land upon the sweetest dog in the world. We knew it was right when we brought the kids to the shelter to introduce them. We had the kids sit on a bench in the corner of the dog run until we knew how she would act. We took her off the leash and in an instant she took off for the kids and jumped up on to the bench next to them. In an instant, it was love.
We brought her home, cleaned her up, named her Bailey and fed her lots and lots… and in less than three months she was a beautiful, healthy, muscular, spoiled member of our family. It was never our intention to adopt a pittbull – seeing as they have such a bad rep – but she has been the best dog we’ve ever owned. Her ferocity goes as far as rolling over on her back whenever anyone says hello.
But her wild streak has gotten her in trouble a time or two… every now and again she gets a wild hair up her ass and takes off. Whether it is making circles in the family room or dragging one of the kids through the yard. You never know when its going to happen, or what causes it, but you had better get out of her way. She is 60lbs of all muscle and has knocked me down in one of her whirlwind fits… she has even rammed into the wall so hard she put a hole in it.
Bailey is a great dog – with some “special” issues… I’d love to see Ceaser to see how we could make her even better!
I have a house FULL of pets! Six to be exact. Four cats & two dogs. My cats, are well… cats. They eat, they sleep, they poop in a box. They each have their own individual quirks. For instance, my charcoal gray Mainecoon, Cashmere is very sweet unless you stop petting her before SHE wants you to stop. If you stop to soon, she will bite you. Not hard enough to break the skin, but she will definitely get your attention. And my youngest cat, Punkin, will ’steal’ anything that is not permanently attached to something too heavy for him to move. I cannot even keep placemats on my diningroom table, because he will grab them and carry them upstairs to my bedroom. Crazy cat!! As for my dogs, they are two of the sweetest animals you will ever meet! But boy oh boy, they have some ISSUES! The oldest dog is my 3 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound, Bones. He is as sweet as pie, but SO stubborn! We even put him through obedience training, but to no avail. He comes when HE wants to and not a minute before. A royal pain in the a$$ when it’s midnight and you are trying to get to bed, but the dang dog won’t come in the house! My youngest dog is my 16 month old Jack Russell Terrier, Daisy Mae. She has got to be the most precious little doggie ever!! She will snuggle and love on you. And if she wants you to pet her she will nudge her nose under your hand until you comply. Daisy Mae is a somewhat small dog, weighing in at a whopping 15 pounds. But she acts like she is a Rottweiler whenever she hears a noise outside or sees another animal walking down the street. I can deal with barking outside, as long as it isn’t incessant. However, when we are in the house, the barking drives me crazy. I am constantly shushing her, but her behavior never changes and it’s becoming seriously frustrating. She is a very smart breed and I know with the right tools I would be able to get this barking in the house mess squashed once and for all!
Tracy – YOU WON!!!!!
