It always made me look forward to the new school year. My mom would take my brother and I out and we would pick the “cool” bag for the year. I remember when I got a messenger bag and I thought I was the coolest thing since sliced bread. Oh the small things in life that made the day as a kid! Every year we got to buy new backpacks. Even if it’s not the most reliable source it makes looking things up a heck of a lot easier. It’s an easy way to get info to start from so it would have made my life a lot easier. This was a really nice way to unwind and relax before school starts, plus its kind of a last hurrah of staying up late, sleeping in, and all the fun summer stuff before the rigors of school starts.
