Week 1
Yeah, so, the Class Managers beat us this week but I’m not bitter. This competition goes on until May so there’s plenty of time for that later. I’m just glad we’re all losing.
I’m also happy (with myself) for my sticktoitiveness when it comes to being healthy. For example:
- It has been over 4 months since I last smoked a cigarette.
- I have not had any fast food or sweets (including my favorite fiber bars because they have chocolate chips in them) since I gave it all up for Lent a week and a half a go.
- I did not harm my eldest child when she came home with 3 C’s on her interim yesterday. The health I saved was her own. (However, as you can see by my pissed off expression in the photo above, I am still not over it.)
How was your progress this week?

I lost another 3 lbs this week! (Plus 3 in January and 9 in February.) I’m averaging about 2 lbs a week so I’m pretty happy with my progress.
I’m super proud of you for quitting smoking!
As long as the needle on the scale moves down, you are doing just fine! I just wish mine would move in that direction…
Uh – Oh… I feel sorry for your eldest. I would not want to be on the receiving end of that look you’re giving… She’ll bring those grades right back up. No problem. Don’t worry… ok, well you can worry a little bit.

You look great to me!
Kudos to you for not smoking for 4 months. I’m sure it hasn’t been easy.
Keep up the good work!
You rock!
Very proud of you!
Even after that magnificent meal with scrumptious appetizers (and a bit of wine) last weekend – I bravely stepped on the WW scale Wednesday (thought it wise to move the weigh in from Tuesday to Wednesday) and was surprised to find that I lost .6 lb – not gained anything. I have 7 lbs to go to meet my goal and plan to do more walking now that the time has changed (hurray!). I can do it by May!
Lol, I’m on the opposite track, the pregnancy weight gain track. So, um, last week I gained a pound! =P
Congratulations on the progress! Remember, the little pieces all add up =)
Congrats on reaching these milestones of restraint! I’m impressed. Go go go!
Hey, I just stopped by to say thank you for your sweet compliment on my website and saw that you wrote about me in your Twitter section. Which is SO AMAZINGLY AWESOME. So thanks for that too =)
Congratulations on no smoking! Now how about your husband? Has he given it up too?
