I’m sure my small town in Virginia is just like yours this week with leftover Halloween
decorations and election signs peppering the harvest hues of the season.

Almost every piece of land out here is marked for one side or the other.

Sometimes, though, I’m not exactly sure of the message.
Am I wrong to think this may be a dig on McCain’s age?

On my street, it’s McCain neighbor against Obama neighbor.
They both had parties this weekend and didn’t invite each other.

Some people have gone to great lengths to share their views.

While others may have just changed their minds.
However you choose, be sure you make it known loud and clear.
Go vote. It is the most important thing you will do today.

I am cautiously optimistic. And super excited. And afraid to jinx things by saying anything specific.
My mother’s neighbor had two McCain signs on her lawn, and put one of them right on the property line between the two houses. It’s a suburban residential neighorhood so they were clearly trying to make it look like my mom supported McCain. Which she does not.
My brother moved the sign well away from the house and property line.
I voted! Got there at 5:30 am – waited almost an hour in the rain! We have some major signage here too! Hope your voting goes quickly and smoothly!
How is Lil doing?
You’re right..there is stuff like this all over this country! I’ve seen some interesting things around our town!
I’ll be voting today…you can bet on that! Hubby and I are taking the kids when he gets off of work!
CAN’T WAIT!!! I am PROUD to be an American! And this is one of those days that I feel it more strongly than ever!
I voted 2 weeks ago, and mailed it off.
This is the most excited I’ve been about an election, ever!
Go Obama!
We went as a family to the polls as 7 AM. Then we went out for a hot breakfast before school. It’s a tradition. I’m glad I have a husband who makes me vote even for the annoying local elections.
I’m not letting myself get emotional until the end and then I’m sure the tears will flow, win or lose.
Vote-check!!!!
Tonite’s a big nite!!!! here in cali, not just the pres. election- but our fight to stop prop 8-my tummy is already doing back flips and it’s early!!!
It sounds like a battle zone on your street, with both sides very vocal!
Great pictures. I had to wait 5 hours in line to vote!
