But the Volleyball Scene Still Gets Me Hot

Absolutely not appropriate for the office or around the children or the easily offended…
…but holy call your ball it’s funny.

Chrissy, my good friend from high school, sent this today. She knows how totally batshit I was for Tom Cruise before he went all Scientology-jumping-on-couches crazy. Back when he used to leave me hints in his movies and have them open on my birthday to just show me his love. And it was enough.

You love me. You really love me.

  • That was one of the best scenes in the movie. Hawt bodies.

  • Sword Fight!! That was awesome. I so needed that giggle. Thanks for sharing

“sword fight!” this is funny-mind if I pass it on- thanks, I think I will. damn funny!

oh, and didn’t all us hot blooded blondies have the hot’s for him back then- oh yes we did-big time- I cut my hair and wore it just like Kelly’s after this movie- thinking that if he ever saw me he would fall in love with me- crazy huh? hehehe

  • Thanks for the memories! I wore out my VHS of Top Gun, recorded from TV. Heh.

  • OMG! That was hilarious!

  • Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard. Thank you!

  • Actually, it was the volleyball scene that made me realize that I could never love Tom Cruise.

Why, you ask? He has no shoulders. I know it looks like he has shoulders but really, he doesn’t. If he had to carry around a laptop and throw the straps over his shoulder the laptop would definitely fall to the ground unceremoniously.

I have better shoulders than he does!

  • Dang, that was too funny!

My best friend and I watched that volleyball scene a million freaking times, and we were only in Jr. High!

  • Huh. I thought only Christian Slater sent me secret messages via movies.

Guess he wasn’t that original after all.

  • I too used to love Tom Cruise… used to being the key words – and man – that was pretty funny! lol – thanks for sharing!!!

  • OMG, that was awesome! I seriously never realized how gay it really was!

  • That’s the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time. And ditto on the volleyball scene.

  • Vdub

I was an Iceman-fan myself, had to always go against the grain but holy gay-man that was hilarious!!

Not that that there’s anything wrong with that.

  • God. I loved that volleyball scene, too. I thought I was going to marry Val Kilmer until…well, I guess somewhere there’s a part of me that still hopes…

  • Hilarious! A great video.

  • I can’t believe I just watched that while sitting in Disneyland. Oh well, wait. Yes I can.

  • Talk to me, Goose.
