Bridal Shower Invitation Addendum

Dear Bridal Shower Guests unable to attend,

I am so sorry that you cannot make it to my sister’s shower on the 28th. We will miss you.

During the next two weeks, I will be extremely busy preparing for the party among other summer happenings as well as running my own bustling household. As much as I adore my sister and am enjoying all that will lead up to the happy couple’s nuptials in one month, I have much to do as you can well imagine.

I would like to take a moment to draw your attention to something you may have missed. There is a box on your registry order form that you are able to check to request gift wrapping.

Please, please, please for the love of all that is holy in this world, check the damn box.

If I receive one more unwrapped gift delivered to my residence, something bad will happen.

Something like this.

I have a sharpie and I will use it.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the wedding in July!

Sincerely,
Kimberly

  • I’ve had to giftwrap Xmas gifts for my kids from immediate relatives too cheap to spring for the wrapping service. You know, because around that time of year, I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO.

  • Oh, the nerve of some people! Your sister is so lucky to have you.

  • LOL! Too funny! I second the “have the kids help wrap suggestion. I know Elle has mastered the bag-and-tissue paper method of gift-wrapping. You’ll need to enforce a cover charge at the shower though to recoup your cost.

  • uh oh. I never get gift wrapping because it’s just not eco friendly.

But in this situation, I see your point.

But it’s not always about being “cheap”
