Besides this being the last school day out of school from Spring Break, I have a lot I am excited about in the near future. I knew you’d want the list and as usual, I want yours. Let’s make a swap, m’kay?
Mine:
1. Tonight I am going to Sarah’s house to drink wine and hang tough with the DC Metro Moms.
Yes, we hang tough. We’re from DC.
2. Tuesday, I have an appointment to dye these locks back to blonde and I couldn’t be happier. My husband has started a chant around the house. “Bring the Blonde Back!” Yeah, okay, I will. Due to my current double chin, I won’t be sharing before and after pictures. Sorry, Mommy Needs a Diet.
3. Did I mention that the kids go back to school on Monday? Yes, they do and they don’t have another day off until Memorial Day. And yes, I’m smiling.
4. Tomorrow I am going to be a stalker. Tickets for The Jonas Brothers go on sale at noon tomorrow and I HAVE to have some. Oh, they are totally for my daughters. I mean, I’m going to go with them but I’m sure I won’t enjoy the show or anything. I mean what am I, like 12?
5. I just signed up for Adobe Photoshop Express. So excited to use it!! Hopefully I’ll take plenty of pictures tonight to play with. What photo editing software do you use?

I use Photoshop for graphics and stuff and I use Adobe Lightroom for photos. LOVE LOVE LOVE lightroom!!!
I signed up for the PS Express too, I know its still Beta. I think it could do a lot more than it does currently. I was pretty impressed with Picnik.
I didn’t know I was supposed to edit my photos …..
I’m really looking forward to my date tomorrow night with my husband, we are going to dinner and then to see The Bank Job. Of course, I’m sick with some virus or possibly strep even, but I’M GOING OUT NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!

Looking forward to: Lunch at Gordon Biersch in an hour! DH has lots of guy-stuff planned this weekend so I’ll be in “amuse the boys” mode, which isn’t so exciting, but I am truly happy that DH is doing man things because he totally needs to blow off some steam.

I’m looking forward to seeing my Mommy in OKC. But I’m having a really good time right now (I’m watching the girls), so I’m in no hurry for this trip to end.
I love, love, LOVE Lightroom - you must try the demo. You will never work with your pictures the same.. I just love the fact you can basically shoot the whole thing over (if you’re shooting in manual mode). Even if you aren’t, it gives you so many new options.

I am still “looking forward” to my new digital SLR camera. He has exactly one more month before my b-day and he said I’d have it by then, but I’m getting pissy about it.
I use Photoshop. I’m way back on 5.5, but that’s what I learned on and it seems to do fine for me. I have a connection to get the entire CS3 for next to nothing, you just reminded me to check up on that.
I’ve heard Lightroom is way cool, though, and the demo shows it’s probably easy to use specifically for editing photos

I did, however, have a hair appointment today, and I couldn’t be happier. And I’m sure there’s wine in the house somewhere…
