Virginia can be a lonely place to live on Super Tuesday…
At home I sat, flipping between the various cable news channels getting more and more excited, more and more pumped. On my computer, every blogger was telling me to "Get out and Vote!". Even Twitter & Google joined forces to stream real time tweets on a Google Map. How cool?
I’ll be honest with you, I almost got in my car and tried to vote. Almost. Yes, I knew I was a little early but just like these people, I was all psyched up with no where to go. I found myself a wee bit jealous that I could not take part in Super Tuesday. Okay…a lot.
Well, Virginia, we’ll just have to be patient wait until next Tuesday to have our Super day.

Even those of us who are former Virginians assumed y’all were part of Super Tuesday. Sure, I played it off but I was thisclose to calling my brother to make sure he voted. He never would’ve let me forget that.

Ya, honey- you go vote! And do it right because Virginia is IMPORTANT.
I have to admit- I’m happy to admit- that this is the very first time I’ve been really inspired by a presidential campaigne. I am so pumped. All I can think is, this one might really make a difference for my children (including the musician with the congenital heart problem and no health insurance) and their children.
Meanwhile- there’s SURVIVOR!!! Hurray!!! Who will be providing Twitter live feed coverage of THAT? I guess you and I will just have to step up…

Our primary is next year sometime, I think.
See this is part of why I don’t get excited, I don’t feel like “I pick” anyone.

The ‘92 elections were ONE FRIGGIN’ DAY before my 18th birthday.

I love voting and feel your pain.
As an aside, though? I almost cringe when people say “Go Vote!” because I almost always want to follow that with “Unless you have no idea what the candidates stand for or propositions are about. In that case, please stay the freak at home. Thank you.”

IL moved their primary up this year to Super Tuesday because of Barack. We were always a March primary in the past.
