In February of 2006, Lindsay and I launched the Perfect Post Awards in order to share personally captivating posts within a supportive community of talented bloggers like you. Our mission statement has been simple all along - The Perfect Post Awards are a chance to read some of the best stuff written each month- and to spread a little warm fuzziness, too.

Attack of the Redneck Mommy for Worms Out of the Woodwork

While lying in bed sick as a dog with the flu (I am the dog. I AM THE DOG.) feeling quite sorry for myself and barely able to smile, one post sent me into such hysterics that my husband nearly had to call 911 over the coughing fit that ensued.

Here Tanis shares a recent reader email:

Thanks Bob. I’ll take this as a friendly reminder as to why I don’t post our last names or location on the interweb. But I appreciate the time you took from your porn surfing to email little ol’ me. My heart just swells with gratitude. Even if I did develop a nervous twitch after reading this.

Unless you’ve been living under a log, you don’t need me to tell you that this chic is one funny Canadian. Hell, she’s up for a Bloggie and everything. And in person? As real and as sweet as can be.
