…and you will find a picture of me.
After 2 days of my new do and no one really noticing my darker hue, I went back to the salon this afternoon and got crazy.
Let’s see how Kimberly enjoys life as a brunette, shall we?
At least Lillian seems to like it. My husband may be a different story…
My hair is still wet so it will probably lighten up a bit more as it dries. My face is all lovely and shiny from teaching two classes and having an altercation with a traffic cop today. Don’t ask. (Hey, is it illegal to give a policeman the finger?) And don’t mock the angle of the self portrait. I have no timer, dammit.
Now, I think the eyebrows need some work. Send help. I am a butcher with tweezers.

LOVE IT!! The color really makes your blue eyes pop!
I think I like the blonde better. But have fun with this for awhile. And I think your eyebrow look fine.
ALSO LOVE IT!
It looks great!!!
I love it; that color really suits you!
You’re STILL beautiful. Knotwithstanding.
WOW!!! You are SO SO brave. I did my underneath brown and felt like it was such a HUGE step. It looks super cute!
I think it looks gorgeous! It’s really different from the blonde though.
Wow! It looks red to me! And you are still the sex kitten!
I think it’s sexier than the blonde, more womanly — in a good way.
Lil cracks me up.
I love it! It’s totally fantastic! You rock the dark hair!
Who the hell cares what color it is? The sexy curls say it all.
I want to hear about the traffic cop.
See, you pull it off like a natural. It’s gorgeous!
Yes! Reddish-brown, just like MINE! Ha-ha-ha!
Mine is a little more brown, I used to do it the same color that is showing up in your picture, though.
I think it’s striking - very pretty!
Wow!!…. I’m sitting here with my jaw on my keyboard…
Oh goodie! But why aren’t you at the parade??
When I was leaving the salon, the high school across the street was letting out. The traffic cop (who was late to the scene) held up only our side the street for 15 minutes while he directed the other 3 ways on to live their lives. THEN when it was finally our turn to go, he told us that we could not turn at all but instead had to drive straight ahead through the intersection to turn around (which meant sitting in traffic for God knows how long on the other side).
I mouthed a lot of F words to him through the safety of the glass but upon passing him for the second time after sitting even longer, I wanted to send him and extra special gesture but I wasn’t sure about the legality. I called my husband but he could not figure out what I was saying in time so I passed the cop without my birdie erect. DAMN!
Oh it’s a great look!
It is pretty, and different…but damn woman, you are a gorgeous blonde!
Wow! I like the change - good winter color.
Looks like Lillian has to sniff you to be sure it’s her Momma.
Glad you restrained yourself with the traffic cop - we all know the power they have if they get ticked off.
It looks so cute!!!
I like it. Great choice. I like the blonde too, though.
As an aside….how freaking adorable is Lillian?
Welcome to Brunette World! It’s fun and understated here.
You look great. I really like it!
I don’t know if you remember me doing this a few weeks ago and everyone was all “no! it’s great! your eyes pop!” and I was all “shuddup, it’s so bad! *sob* i’m supposed to be blonde! *sob* why do you hate me and tell me your lies?!?!?! *sooooob*” ?
But, after seeing these pictures, I kind of wonder if I look half as good as you do as a brunette.
Your eyes really DO pop!!!!!
I LOVE the new look - you pull it off fabulously!!
I’ll have to ask my husband if he would issue a citation to someone who flew a birdie at him, and under what “code” he would put it… if I remember to ask, I’ll get back to you with his answer
Have a GREAT weekend!!
I love it! You look quite sassy.
I like the darker color. Of course, it may have to do with the fact that I’m a brunette.
Oh, your eyebrows have got nothin’ on mine!! I’m like… like the Barber of Seville. Or something. I’m so dangerous with the tweezers, this
could very easily be me if I don’t be careful. I mean, eybrows… eyes… all pluckable, ya know what I mean?
Oh and I love your hair. And this is my first time to your blog, so for all I knew, that was your natural color. I can honestly say, I couldn’t tell the difference.
Love it! Love the color. Would KILL for your curls. And I got a kick out of the second pic — looks like the dog is sniffing your hair. Me thinks your pup likes it too.
P.s. I think your brows look just fine.
I love the color. It’s a new you. As the for the finger and the cop — yeah, I know I have a law degree, but I’m going to pass on the legal advice on that one!

Oooh, pretty! It’s brunette, but it seems to have a good bit of auburn in it as well … or is it just a sparkle? Looks great!
Love the color. Definitely different. Having worked many parades recently and having many people mad that I have kept them from going about their lives for 15 or so minutes to ensure the safety of the people in the parade, I would have definitely found something to write if you had given me the finger.
Me? You would have given me a ticket???? When I read this comment I had flashbacks of sliced up pictures of myself falling from an envelope. Not sure why but it gave me the chills.
BTW, I saw your sister at church on Sunday.
I think you look fab! Way to go brunette!
Ooh, I really like it! Who says blonds have more fun?
I likey!
