Hi petroville!

niassniass sent you a fan request.

However, I do care that I am clueless. Please explain.

You love me. You really love me.

  • Ummm, I don’t know if it’s related, but about a year ago I got a spam solicitation to do “mobile blogging” for a company called SMS.ac. I don’t really understand how it all works, but it’s a big fat scam. They money is made in how they bill for their “services” but it’s very confusing, which, I suppose, is how they suck people in. Don’t sign up for any of their services. They are bogus as bogus can be.

  • Or it could be one of the soon-to-be ubiquitous “social networks,” one of which you do not need.

  • At least it sounds like you have a fan….or a machine generated fan.

  • Jeez – you’re popular at places you don’t even sign up to be part of.

  • Perhaps someone’s mobile phone has fallen in love with you?

  • Sherry

It’s just plain old junk mail via the internet.

  • It is a mobile phone thing. SMS is Short Message Service on your cell. SMS.ac is an online community that uses SMS and MMC texting, the thing is if you join this community membership is expensive because they charge you a ton to enable the messaging service. Basically premium texting prices on you phone contract for each message read and sent.

Basically the person may mean well, but it may cost you to accept the fan request in the end, so continue ignoring them.

  • I’m glad someone knew. I’m clueless, too!

  • yeah – other than knowing that I’ve received those things and ignored them – I knew nothing else about them either… I’m glad someone did!!

  • Talk to me, Goose.
