This weekend the Fall weather finally arrived so we carved pumpkins, soaked in the hot tub and watched movies…and ate too much but we won’t go there.

Cute couple, huh?
Saturday night we saw The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D. Very cool although my husband was squirming because there was an awful lot of singing. The 3D effects kept him happy though.
Later that night once the kids were in bed, we watched The Reaping with Hilary Swank.

Holy scary movie from hell, Batman! Of course, my husband fell asleep so I’m up until 2am watching this movie alone and totally freaked out. Seriously, my ears were ringing - it was that good.

Those pupmkins are hilarious!
I’ll have to add that scary movie to the list. I hate them, but on evenings when I am feeling generous, I will sit and watch one - as long as you consider hiding behind a pillow with intermittant screaming ‘watching’ the movie…
I am going to have to add that one to my Netflix Queue. Todd and I went and sipped wine, ate dinner and watched Saw IV at the Cinema Cafe on Friday night (although not much eating happened - I am not quite sure what we were thinking when we thought we would be able to eat during a Saw movie). It lived up to it’s gory reputation! We are BIG scary movie fans.
1408 lately.
Ever? Any of the freakin’ Chuckie movies. Mr. Hot knows that I cannot (truly - cannot stand) Chuckie.
He scares the ever-lasting life outta me.

Your pumpkins look fantastic!
Happy Halloween!
Have a wonderful week!

the Cool Raggedy one
Your pumpkins are decked out in Halloween costumes… I love it!
Love the pumpkins! Too cute.
The scariest movie I’ve seen lately…Meet The Robinsons. Seriously. I don’t do scary.
1408 was creepy. creepy. creepy.
But want to know what movie still creeps me out totally and completly and makes me carry a water bottle around all beginning of fall?
Signs.
I live in corn fields. It could totally happen. And It really really creeps me out.
*shiver*
I’m not allowed to watch scary movies.
It’s the one and only thing I’m not “allowed” to do. Mainly because when I do, my husband is not “allowed” to sleep when I’m imagining a crazed killer is trying to break in through my kitchen window.
I love your pumpkins! I took my daughter to see “Nightmare Before Christmas” in 3D too. Those effects were pretty darn cool!
Um. Does The 300 count? Except that it wasn’t really scary and had some really, really, rilly, rilly, rilly (repeat exponentially) HOTTTT MEN in little more than loin cloths? I don’t typically watch scary movies because I’m a big baby.
You know me and scary movies
Did you start hearing noices from the roof?
Love the pumpkins!
I liked 28 Weeks Later - pretty well done. And we just watched the first season of Dexter (showtime); it’s suspenseful and creepy. And inappropriately funny sometimes.
The last movie I saw was “The Pink Panther” before I left Dallas… don’t think that qualifies. Does watching the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” on cable count?
Oh — howdy from the blogger formerly known as FTS
Oh! Saw a preview for that movie today and thought, they always make it look scarier than it really is….apparently not. Thanks for the warning.
I love that wig! Hahahaha!
I love scarey movies, too. The E****s still scares be $hitless.
I totally can’t watch scary movies. I think the last one was Silence of the Lambs! This summer I was reading a book and had to put it down because there was a slightly spooky part.
Never thought to put a wig on the pumpkin. Cute idea.
Love the Pumpkins!!! Glad you liked the Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D. My co-worker saw it at a DLP theater and said it was amazing and the picture was clearer than any movie he’s ever seen. I’m planning on taking my girlfriend soon!!!
