I say that after 13 years, I’m finally realizing that I’m just not ready for marriage.

See, being on my 4th husband, I got me one of them “Yes, dear” types. Like he tells other people, “When my wife’s happy, I’m happy.”
Plus, he knows I change husbands on the average of every 7 years and we’re going on 8.
I say you know you’re good friends when you start running the same damn cycles and can relate to the marital
blpissy time of month.(Boy, I have the hands of a trucker when I stop by here. Jeez.)
So guys just never learn :-P

OMG, I swear I am not making this up…I found you through the friend of a friend. I SO could have written what you did only instead of 13 years? I could have inserted 25 years. I’m serious. High school boyfriend, head over heels in love with me and we would have THE PERFECT RELATIONSHIP…if he would get over the fact that my three kids aren’t his.
But maybe that’s Texas guys for ya.
I feel like I am not ready for marriage after 11 years, therefore I have not married him yet. Just bought a house and procreated…..
Oh hon, NOBODY is ever “ready” for marriage. For almost thirty years, I’ve been reminding myself daily that sometimes the ‘better’ comes AFTER the ‘worse.’
He really should know better by now, shouldn’t he? It’s his own fault.
