Good Things Fallin’

Wednesday, August 29th 2007

With the Labor Day weekend approaching, so goes what’s left of Summer. Of course, officially, the season does not change until September 23rd - but who the hell has time to wait for the leaves to begin to fall ? No, sir. I’m ready.

Fall brings many good things in it’s bounty. The kids are back to school and a routine of some semblance resumes. This forces further organization and less corking off. Clean out your desk and quit your whining! Maybe you don’t eat or drink as much and that’s a good thing too. Stay sober to help with homework and save the massive munchdowns for the holidays. You have time to actually exercise and you could even try doing it outside and not melt. Walk those dogs for heaven’s sake! All very good things.

  • Here in Petroville, a change is on the horizon as well. My Fall design is only a day or so away from gracing you with it’s pretty presence. Hard to wait, isn’t it?
    (Hint: MommaK is dead.)
  • Also, a project I’ve been working on with a team of talented local shebloggers should be announced soon. Again, with the tease. (Hint: DC Moms)
  • One thing that has actually already happened is the joyous receipt of Mail Booty. I’ll link the lucky blogger(s) soon once they are able to hold up their end of the bargain. (Hint: Involves compromising photographs).

You love me. You really love me. Dontchya?

  • My favorite thing? Since I tire easily of whatever wardrobe I’m wearing…..I LOVE looking at the cuddly sweaters I’ll be able to wear soon.

  • I LOVE male booty.

    Oh wait…

  • You’ve already got one of the best blog designs there is.

  • Male = YES!!!! Mail? Um? I don’t know…

Hey, I opened my inbox of e-mail today and thought of you. I know how special uh? Anyways, here is a link to some new migraine website by a pharma. company:

It might help? It might not! :shame:

  • Ok, I need therapy.

Here try this link. The one above is to my inbox message…not the actual website (mind over migraine). I copied & pasted the wrong thing.

  • I love those first few cooler nights when people fire up the fireplace. Going for a walk after dinner and smelling that wood smoke is definitely a memory spark for me. Add in some pre-Halloween candy when I get home, and I am 9 again.

  • My favorite thing about this time of year is the U.S. Open!

  • That feeling of starting again - starting over (the whole back to school energizer); cool nights; warm scenic colors; new fashions. Back to singing for me - I miss it!

  • I just realized I am sick of good weather. How can this be?

  • My anniversary. Sweet memories of courtship. Migrating birds. Fresh apples.

  • I can’t wait for your blog’s Fall fashion preview - oh, an unveiling!

My favorite thing about this season is slipping into flannel sheets and warming up with my hubby. Oh, and wearing sweatshirts again on cool days. I

  • My favorite thing about fall is having fewer days of sweatiness than in the summer. My other favorite thing is that on some days in the fall, you’re really lucky to get in the car after lunch, and it’s cool enough to not die, but warm enough to be snuggly cocoon-y for a quick nap.

  • I’m getting the camera ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can’t wait for the Fall change.

  • Apples! I picked some today from my orchard and baked our first fresh pies!

  • I can’t wait to see your new look and project! I’m in the DC area, so hook me up, please.

  • That it is not 9000 degrees. I am like Brenda from the Closer and having Hot Flashes or something.
My kids go back to schooooooll!!!!!

Can’t wait to see your new design.

  • :lazy: I like daylight savings time and the sunsets happening at an earlier time. Makes everybody turn in earlier and then we can talk and play games in the living room together.

  • Hooray! Booty Call is one of my favorite things! AND- finally finishing a post! Rich is the only guy at his office with a Jazzercise license plate holder- and I promise to post a photo of that soon. Everything else: delicious! And the bag is packed and ready to go. Thank you, thank you, thank you, lovey.

You are ALWAYS AB FAB- but yes, the design is super for this most beautiful time of year.

  •

Butternut squash soup, any kind of soup, really. That and fires in the stove. That is what I love about the Fall. But I do miss summer when it goes.

  • Speak Up. You Know You Wanna.
