Heavy headed today so I’m letting it spill:
Kids start school tomorrow. How do I have a 7th grader and a 3rd grader? It always makes me sad to see them go off on that first day back. How are they so old already?
Saturday night polo got rained out after only and hour so the whole crew ended up back at our house. Things got really crazy after an intense game of Cranium when my friend and I danced with the 8 year olds for over an hour. We boogied our fool asses off to the songs “Lip Gloss” & the Spice Girls classic “Wannabe” over and over again. There was a Fly Girls meets the Go-Go’s kind of vibe going on. Don’t ask me why…besides how fun it was.
Thinking about taking a yoga class. Yep. Once a week.
Pretty sure Lil got drunk last night. (Mary don’t yell at me.)
Still reading the new Harry Potter book. Today I ate 3 finger nails and half a bag of sour patch kids while I gobbled up 5 chapters. Harry is not good for my looks.
Speaking of harry, thanks for the manscaping feedback. Glad to know we weren’t the only ones not in the know. Just for the record, we were both aware of the practice of general upkeep, it’s the bare ball popularity that came as a surprise. Just the thought of taking a razor to a testicle makes my eyelid go into spasms.
Anyone watching BB8? If so, are you as offended as I am at how Evil Dick has behaved in the house?

BB8 is, I’m ashamed to say, one of my favorite summertime smutty TV shows! My sweet friend even got me hooked on checking the BB8Spoiler site. I subscribed to my Google Reader. Shame. Shame. Shame.
Yes, ED is making me so mad. He has a criminal record and *shock* he was arrested for domestic violence against a woman about 10 years ago.
I think they should not have replaced his cigs. But that’s just my opinion.

Once the girls get back to school I hope to get to yoga classes more often. For the summer, I managed with a lot of lap swimming and yoga only when I could get away.

Sometimes I feel like I should be at baseball game or a dance recital and NO I am all grown up and so are they.

My step son spent the weekend singing Fergalicious and Kung Fu Fighting..we got the new Boogie game for the Wii. He’s 8..it was cute.

Re: yoga. LOVED my Mexico yoga (the only thing). I came home and went to Bikram yoga and let me tell you. It is wrong. Do not go to hot yoga. I couldn’t see because salty sweat was in my eyes. I couldn’t use the mat to stay in the poses because I my hands were slipping in my own pool of sweat. Never again.
I guess when children start in a new school year, they always seem older then.
My kids are in 7th and 3rd this year too. I’m crying on the inside. Especially since Zed has asked to play football this year. I said yes, even though I died a little on the inside. I’ll feel every hit he takes!
I totally understand your angst about your gets getting older. Mine are closing in on 40 (!!!) and I can’t figure how they got older than me! :O
