More Than I Usually Chew

Wednesday, July 11th 2007

All this week and next, I am teaching my own classes as well as subbing for a vacationing instructor. When I picked up these extra classes, including 3 days of doubles (back to back, 1 hour classes), I think I said something totally idiotic like, “No problem! Let’s see what I’m made of.” (Who even talks like that?)

At least I’ll be in some kind of shape for my birthday/Blogher trip. Yep, 34 is looming out there in front of me. Funny, right now me and my shaky-achy-jello quads don’t feel a day over 36. Got any Icy Hot?

What about you? How old are you feeling today?

If you really love me, feed me in your reader!

You love me. You really love me. Dontchya?

Oh MommaK you are so funny.I can’t believe I have known you this many years.
    I feel 16 oh wait……..maybe 21.
Growing old is not for whimps is what I always say.

  • Well, I feel 76, which I am. But I look 90, which I’m not. You are not doing a good job of gaining on me.

  • i’ve only had a 1/2 a cup of coffee so far this morning so i feel 40-ish

  • I feel 154.

  • My birthday is July 11. I was 55 today. I feel about 35. Which is really strange, but I do.

  • It seems to be that every day I feel at least 10 years older than I am… except today when it’s more like 20… and I have to be sociable in a minute… ugh.

  • With a slight migraine, I feel 100!

  • Ummm…you talk like that. :giggle:

Wish we had jazzercise here so that I could start coming to class.

  • Hope

I just had my hair done, so officially can take off a good 5 years!

  • Wow. You are only 34! I thought you were an old woman!! Get busy with that Jazzercise. I will be busy drinking margaritas in your honor!

    Best,

    Bitsy

  • I too had my hair colored which subtracts 10 years easily! But admittedly so, I am currently dealing with a bit of a *love crush* which puts me at about 35!

I look young enough for people to be scandalized when I mention my daughter is 17 - they think I’m some sort of “victim”… but honey, I feel like my great gramma at 97 - “whats your name again? who do you belong too? here, have something to eat you are too thin! Have you gained weight? you look heavy - wait, who are you again? who do you belong too? whoops - I need the bathroom!” Sigh. Some days I wonder…
