Hi all of you loyal wonderful MommaK fans and friends, it’s me, Leanne!
MommaK would like me to pass a message along to you. It goes a little something like this:
I’m paraphrasing, of course.
Allow me to sum up for you what our dear MommaK has been up to lately:
- The Birthday.
- Mother’s Day.
- The puppy.
- Internet went down.
- Landscaping has begun.
- Landscapers cut alternate internet access cable. Clear through.
And then, after all of that, the doorbell rang. Don’t you hate when that happens? The nerve of some people.
I know you can relate when I say that I’ve been having some MommaK withdrawls. I am happy to report that all is well in the Ding Dang Woods, someone has just poured a big bucket of life on her head and it’s all tangled up in her long curly locks. It won’t be long before she’s back to share some blog love and catch up with everyone.
In the spirit of MommaK, I shall now ask a question on her behalf to facilitate the catching up process, since she’s been missing you, too.
Oh my gosh, the internet is down? That would be killing me! Thanks for the update! I’ve been wondering where MommaK is.
What’s going with me? Well, I launched both of my blogs on their own domains this past week. Yahoo!!!! I feel so, official! LOL!

Well since I live in the same Ding Dang Woods as Momma K I don’t have any updates on the weather other than it’s been beautiful.
I’ve been a gardening nut! Unfortunately I’m so out of shape I can barely lift my arms as a result.
Hang in there Momma K! We’ll be here when you return.
A birthday party, landscaping, a pissed off dog, and big new puppy? No time for blogging?

Life is crazy right now. I am up to my eyeballs in work and should not be looking at blogs right now!

Okay, I went out to a wildlife refuge and they had hands-on with some birds of prey — great horny owl, toupee-less eagle, great-winged vulture and even some exotic macaw that got too big for its owner. This news will enthrall MK, I just know.
Tell her we miss her!!
In my neck of the woods there has been lots going on, houseguests, wedding for my daughter, bronchitis, and laundry. Only one thing on that list was something I enjoyed.
Oy!

I’ve been crazy with end of school year stuff and planning for my Miss Directomy this summer. Oh, it will be EVER so much fun!
:sorry: How awful awful awful! To be without the Internet is to be without one’s “fix”…! I hope you get back to being up and running very very soon, my dear….Nothing has been going on in my bexk of them woods! Compared to what’s been going on with you…I am deeply grateful it has been a relatively quiet time! :giggle:
