I wanna try out for middle school soccer. 3 days of tryouts later (and only one to go) - I don’t wanna be on the school team. Great. Glad I got down on my hands and knees and begged the ENT to give you a sports physical while we there Monday getting the knot removed from your head. And how did I end up raising a giver-upper anyway? Bad Mom.
We applied for the girls passports weeks and weeks ago. The US Passport Agency (bless their hearts) are doing the best job they can to handle the crazy influx of inquiries and applications but DAMN! I need them in a week. Can’t we make that happen for all the everlovin’ taxes we pay a year? Geeeeeeeez.
So were going to the Dominican Republic for Spring Break. In the DR, there is a slight risk of contracting malaria so officials recommend the use of chloroquine. I’ve heard and read mixed reviews about this practice. My husband’s doctor says not to take it. Mine says to take it. I’m not sure what to do.
We have one week left to get all of the junk out of the old house. You’d think that after a year of not living there, we wouldn’t have much to move. Wrong. I’ll be back and forth a few more hundred times with that stuff - but no whining here. I am so thankful to be selling it. I’m still scared something will go wrong, though. Paranoid, I guess.
This weekend we have a soccer game, 2 sleepovers, a reading report, moving, a trip to the dump, prescriptions to fill, furniture to sell, a horse show to get ready for and attend, Perfect Posts to link and a visit from the mother that just returned from Italy. A mother, btw, that went all the way back through security at the airport because she had 2 jars of Italian marmalade in her carry-on that she could not part with. If I made no sense in the post you just read, this should shed some light on from whence I came.
Lots of to and fro here both mentally and physically. You?

Um, wow, you have a ton going on! Any chance my husband and brother could pitch in a hand next weekend or will you already be off to the DOminican Republic?
I miss you.
Holy moly, sounds busy. Why did she decide to not join the team?
Yup! This weekend I am also going to and fro to get all my stuff from the old house into the new house. Moving sucks but hooray for selling the house!
Holy crap woman!! I’m exhausted reading all of that.
I LOVE the new look.
So what if I came very close to taking out the security guard - after spending that last 12 hours in airports & in flight! Very special marmalade! I could see that my argument that marmalade is not a ‘jell’ was going nowhere. It was for the ‘Nana’ - had to bring her back something!! The crazy things we do! I think the worst part of flying is the damn security checkpoints - I know they’re necessary - I don’t know how people do it with kids though! Good luck on the passports!!!
Wow…I just had to send my passport in to get it renewed and they said it was gonna take close to 5 weeks…I hope you applied sometime ago
My head is spinning.
