More like “The Never Ending Party”…
They began arriving an hour and half early. I had not even showered. I kid you not.
Question: What’s worse than early guests?
Answer: Ones that stay 5 hours too long.
The first guest arrived at 11:30 am.
The last guests left at 12:30 am.
55 people and me with swollen feet from 13 hours of mingling.
She came.
And so did she.
They both brought their beautiful families and homemade gifts to share. Loved it.
Most of West Drama Drive stopped by which was really interesting considering half of them don’t like to speak to each other. I just smiled my best Switzerland smile and filled plastic wine glasses.
I had a blast and I think it went off well – except for Mapquest getting half of our guests lost (sorry Chrissy – love you).
I’m feeling exhausted and kind of depressed. I think it’s PPLD – Post Party Let Down.
Now what?
I think I need some sleep.

Who comes to a party EARLY? That’s insane. The people who stayed late were having such a blast they couldn’t bear to leave. But, damn, that’s a long party. Pictures?

It must have been a great party for people to mingle for so long. Your house is so pretty. Maybe thats why people didn’t want to leave. =)
Oh wow. And I thought it was bad that my family shows up 30 minutes early to things. Yikes! And 12:30 am departure? Holy cow! Glad it’s over, hope everyone had a good time. Rest up and relax! Christmas Day is just around the corner!

I am glad I am a good guest and not one of the bad guests! We had a lovely time. Dean Martin’s grandson was a hoot.
Your party was wonderful!! The food – phenomenal! Your house – simply gorgeous – as are you! We wish we could have stayed longer, but… you know how it is this time of year.
FYI – Grambug said that she thought your house was wonderful and that you looked particularly skinny. :-)
