Okay, not really.
I wish it were snowing here! It’s been 60 degrees all week which is not helping me get my holiday groove on. At least I can feel wintry here on my blog. Leanne tweaked the winter design that she created for me last year and slapped it up today. Nice, huh? Yep. She’s amazing and she has some really good news to share. Go see.
So instead of the gazillion things I have to do to get ready for this massive party, I’m sitting here getting cozy with my blog again. Ahhhhhh…

We’ve got 40’s and 50’s here mostly (new england)… and I ain’t complainin’ one little bit!!
Tell me about it! We barbecued again last nite! And it’s going to be mid-60’s next week.
My irises have begun to grow. They missed winter and got tired of waiting for it. Fortunately, they are the only bulbs that have popped up. The other 150 or so are still dormant.
I want some freaking snow. Seriously. No snow on Christmas is a sacrilege. It would be like living back in California again.

I spent about two hours looking at Leanne’s site. Truly amazing. I’m sure I’ll go back often.
I am waiting for the snow. By this time last year we had already enjoyed its white fluffy goodness and I was able to get my photo for the Christmas card for this year.

The holiday spirit kind of hit me yesterday and the credit card paid the price. I did try to buy as many items on sale as possible though. Today I will be wrapping and baking for the goody baskets each loved one gets every year. Should be fun.
