1. Yes, I know…it’s not snowing yet but it has sure been windy and cold as the dickens! 2. Great time to have your pool finally open. Now we just need to stand outside and brush it 4 times a day, test it twice a day and a bunch of other stuff that went right over my head. Man do I need a pool boy! 3. Gold Cup is over and now I have Thanksgiving to prep for. Let’s do a recipe swap again this year. What do you say? Mmmmmmm…I’m getting hungry already. Deep fried turkey anyone? 4. I received the sweetest email from a writer the other day. She’s just started blogging and said she loves mine. *blush* Why don’t you go over and say hello to a new blogger? Karen will be tickled pink. 5. Halloween is next week and I’ve got a Pink Lady and a Caterpillar in my house. What are your kids dressing up as? Are you dressing up? I’m not a dresser-upper. Nope. 6. We’re supposed to dress up as pirates for jazzercise class on Saturday. Every time my instructor mentions it I want to shout “filthy pirate whore!!”. I can’t help it. Random movie lines run reckless in my head most days. 7. All of a sudden I’m stressed about ordering my Christmas cards. Have you thought of that yet? I need a good picture… 8. I laughed when Raehan said I looked like Meryl Streep in that recent hat shot. People have mentioned the resemblance quite a few times in the past but I don’t really see it. Once in a NY City diner, I was actually approached for my (her) autograph because the tourist was convinced I was Ms. Streep. I wish!! 9. Did you see?? Leanne is having her annual pumpkin carving contest again this year. You really should enter. Some really cool people have won in the past *ahem* and there are even prizes to be had! 10. How good is LOST??? Oh…yum. 11. As of yesterday, I’m down 9.6 lbs in six weeks…speaking of yum. I can fit into my jeans again but I’d about kill for a doughnut. 12. I have a few things going on right now in my personal life that I am dying to blog about. It’s so not fair. We want to know all the dirt, right?? Ack! If only my 13. Great list.
I don’t know if we’ll be dressing up for Hallowe’en this year or not. Back home, in Canada, I would dress up to hand out candy, or to go out to a party, but they aren’t big on Hallowe’en over here in Germany. I’m told it’s starting to catch on here in Munich, though, so I’ll have to check with the neighbours to see if we can expect any trick-or-treaters.

yes, I love to watch Lost. I get the tingles whenever that LOST intro with the spooky music and blurry word come accross the screen.
No trick or treaters in my house *sigh*, and since we live in the country, no one comes to the door!
Congrats on the weight loss, it is not easy. I am working on that myself.

I have a saucy pirate girl and phantom in my house along. I am not a dresser upper either, usually. But this year I’m going to be a Catholic School girl to my husband’s priest. HA! We are sick sick people sometimes 
I can’t wait for Thanksgiving either, this will be the third year I host it. Yay, me! Ah well, happy Thursday.

I decided to wati till after thanksgiving so I can get pics of the grandbabies together. Think I’m gonna do a grandbabie photo for my christimas card.
Christmas cards? ACK! I haven’t even come up with Halloween costumes for the kids yet. I’m starting to think white sheets with eye holes cut in them is abut the best we’re going to come up with this year…

Kaiden was going to be a Princess again for the 3rd year in a row, but I convinced her to be a witch, by telling her it was a “princess witch” - apparently, as long as I put the word princess in front of it…she’s down!
Ashton is going to be a fireman.
