Away meaning my mother is coming to stay with the kids,
reservations were made, trouble was gone to and expectations are high.
We are going to the lovely little town of St. Michael’s, MD on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay.
Someone *ahem* has intruded into our weekend plans uninvited.
His name is Ernesto.
Ernesto is tagging along and now I have to go over this bridge
in this weather.
Bastard.

We too had planned a trip up that way. But due a death can not go. But expidia & Ernesto get to keep our money. I’m sure he would have ruined our trip anyway.
I was down that way just yesterday, and it wasn’t too bad. Lots of trees down, though. Hopefully there is power at your hotel?
Rain is a perfect reason to remain secluded in a hotel room with frequent calls to room service for more champagne. Have fun!

Happy Anniversary and hopefully Ernie didn’t intrude on you too much! We are also going away for our 9th year anniversary in 2 wks as well. First time in 6 years away from the kids. Cold feet, heck yes! But my hubbie will drag me out even by the hair.

Ernesto did come and pay us a visit as well. I hope you were able to make it to MD. What a wonderful place. I live there btw on the Eastern Shore, by the ocean.
