How lucky! Most places here won’t take riding students under age 10. Oh, I remember the earring days - the excitement, anticipation, apprehension and the smiles when it is all over. What a very good day.

Oh goody! I can tell Nick that a 7 year old didn’t cry when she got her ears pierced! An earring is the next thing to go with his new bald head!

How quickly they grow up.The pictures are precious. I loved horseback riding lessons, until my brother discovered how cute the teacher was, then he insisted on driving me to my lessons! Now that I’m older and can drive myself, I’m going to start taking lessons again.

Pierced ears and horses all in one day? Wow. When my youngest was 8 she insisted she wanted her ear’s pierced for her birthday.
She lasted through one.
I brought her back to the mall at least three time, to no avail.
When she was 11 she attempted it again. This time we did both ears at the same time, and we had success.
Sometimes girls just make me tired.
