Am I really that easy?
Do you think you can just read my blog and email me for a year or more and have me down pat?
Do you really think that you can just pick out my very favorite things in my very favorite colors and scents and somehow know that I’ll scream with glee when I open the package?

I think I am the easiest person to shop for, my husband thinks I am the most difficult. A long time I would say I knew you pretty well..now I am re-getting to know you. I can see you at parties a long time ago with your plastic bottle full of whatever cheap wine we could find.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I saw some flip-flops that made me think of you. I saw them and said “MommaK would FLIP for these”. But didn’t know where to send them. Duh. I guess I just could’ve asked huh?
I think I’m kind of hard to shop for. Not because I try but because I’m like “really, no, you don’t have to get me anything”. And I like practical, useful gifts.

My good friends have me down pat. They know me. My best friend bought me the best sweater when I moved to Seattle, and she said it was, quoting here “The I live around Seattle and am drinking my coffee” sweater. Because I love coffee. She even picked the best color.

I think of you whenever I see flip-flops. I saw some patio lights in the shape of flip-flops (the kind on a string that you hang)… but figured that might be too much! They were really cute though!

i know you like flipflops and i’m not easy to buy for.
I think I’m harder to buy for than I used to be. Unless it’s a gift card to Target or a bookstore, I don’t think people can easily draw a bead on what I like. Mr. Half does a good job…and my sisters rarely miss either.
