Today’s Survivor recap is being brought to you by my good friend Sherry. She was sweet enough to fill in for me while I was busy with the Perfect Post Awards – which were fantastic, by the way. I am still making my way around to read all of the winning posts. If you missed it yesterday, please scroll down and click on a few. You won’t be sorry.

We waited 3 weeks for this?
The two tribes become one after the LaMina men (Sally still on Exile Island) receive a boat “load of know how” telling them to go to the Casaya Camp.
Back at the Casaya camp Courtney is in an uproar about nobody keeping her warm during the night. She slept in the cold and wet spot designed especially for her. I guess no one else in the camp had a horrible nights sleep but her (as usual the show seems to be all about her). BUT to the fans surprise it isn’t. The Men from LaMina (Terry, Nick & Austin) greet the Casayaians with open arms. The Casayaians are feeling really powerful because of course they are more in numbers. Let’s see now who are they: Detox Man= Shane (who actually has been fun to watch because he is so blunt), then there is the so-called Captain = Danielle (who was excited to pick the “cool looking guy” Shane when they first became the Casaya tribe). Oh and we can’t forget Mr.Know-it-all =Aris who treats his elders with no respect, even if this game is a game of survival. Then there is Bruce=The Karate-kid grown up, who is in his own world trying to get some peace. Last of all we have Courtney and Cirie who just do what they want and seem to be fooling everyone even the fans…..Why are they still here???
Let’s get on with the show…..Sally eventually meets up with the LaMina men and the Casayaians. The tribe is now ONE=Gitanos, which means gypsies. There is lots of talk about who wants to go with who. Terry being the main man to initiate with anyone so he can stay, even though he already has the “immunity idol” that he so easily found during his trips to Exile Island.

Then we watch the immunity challenge with all of the players looking a little like monkeys hanging on a bar. Most of the old Casaya team give up because why waste their energy when they have the power by numbers, in the end of the challenge, it is the Men from LaMina still hanging….Terry, Nick, & Austin. Austin tries his hardest to hang on and asks Terry to please give-up. Austin doesn’t know that Terry already has an “Immunity Idol.” The winner to our surprise is Terry. Who now has double immunity and more power then anyone knows. The first tribal council as Gitanos votes Nick off. When he could have been saved by his own team mate, Terry. I personally thought Terry’s actions were selfish. I don’t think Nick will appreciate it when he finds out that Terry already had immunity.

Editors note: I’ve been trying to get Sherry to guest post here for over a year now so this is a big deal. Maybe if her sister, Annie and I all join forces we can get her to start a blog of her own one day. Maybe…
So, please – even if you don’t watch Survivor, please be a sweetheart and leave Sherry a comment.
Thank you!!

I was really hoping it was Shane who’s torch was going to be put out. Sigh..
I LOVE the new look over here! Beautiful!
Hello to Sherry from her non-Idol watching sister. And hello MommaK…looks pretty over here and I see you’ve been busy posting the month’s perfect posts. I’ll go have a read!
Wow, I miss a little time and when I come back you have a whole new look. I like it!
Hiay Sherry! I don’t watch Survivor, so I can’t speak with any authority. It’s all I can do to keep up with Lost. lol
Colorado is excellent!
Hi, Sherry, this is a good account of Survivor. I also think that they will all be surprised when they find out the terry has the immunity idol. I am just waiting for them to oust Shane the weird!
Good review, Sherry! And you’re right- it really wasn’t worth the wait. As far as Terry goes, he’s clearly in front right now when it comes to outwit, outlast, outsmart or whatever it is they say. It was selfish but that’s part of playing the game, I think. Meanwhile- why is Shane still there? Ack, he rubs me the wrong way. Okay- I’m coming by your camp on Momma K’s high rating.
Wait- I found Annie’s April Fool’s post but you don’t have a blog? Momma K is correct- start one. It’s a smart and friendly neighborhood!
Great review Sherry! I felt bad for Nick but knew one of them would be picked off and was glad it was not Sally. I thought Shane’s hand-holding “we are a team” love circle was gagable. Funny how they are not chewing each other’s faces off now that there is a bigger dog (Terry) in town. And Bruce… poor Bruce. I know he’s a nice guy but he is down right laughable.
And did you catch Nick’s publc service announcement at the end? WTF?
I meant to say Survivor! Sherry’s non-survivor watching sister!
Thanks for the update, Sherry!
I always come here for the lowdown, since I miss the last half of the show every week.
Great job!!
Shane has Charles Manson eyes.
Is all I’m saying.
Thanks again for letting me guest post MommaK….I totally agree with you about Bruce and how tall is he???
I also agree with aka_Monty…Detox Man does have Charles Manson eyes…what is up with him?
I watched Survivor Friday night… I couldn’t wait till it came back…. but then I was bored by the whole thing…
So I didn’t even bother writing a review this week. Hopefully when Terry starts trying to use the idol to his advantage, we get some decent shows again… but for now…. Yawn.
I think this is the best Survivor review hands down. You go girl!
XXOO
I want a pic of the new tribes flag u know GITANOS!
 :winking:  :sing:
