Now without the weekly 13 to fill y’all in on my tidbits, I’m
beginning to feel them pile up on me.
Let’s play a little catch-up, shall we?
* I’m finally up to speed on LOST. Hear that FTS? I can now watch the show live and talk about it. I’m really happy about this.
* Speaking of TV, Survivor starts again on the 2nd. Ahhhhh…
* I suck at eBay. I listed 10 items last week and didn’t sell a one. Not even with the help of these lovely ladies. Where did I go wrong?
* My cousin found out the sex of her bun in the oven and it’s going to be a BOY! Congrats!! AND her #1 is turning one tomorrow. Happy Birthday Eli!!
* Speaking of childbirth, we’re all waiting with baited baby’s breath for the news that Angie has gone into labor. She hasn’t yet (at least to my knowledge) but we’re waiting…and she’s waiting…and she’s decorating…and we’re waiting…and she’s painting the stairs…and we’re waiting…and she’s ironing the curtains…and we’re waiting…
* My one year blog anniversary is coming up and I think I may bore you to death with it. Does that frighten you?
* I want to thank you all for your sweet comments during my lack of blojo period (underline period) and your absolutely disgusting foot stories. You guys are the best friends a girl could ask for!
* I keep thinking of starting up that Roll Call game again. It was a lot of work but now that I have so many new people on my blogroll it could be a fun time. You think?
* I made a pot roast over the weekend and used a recipe from my good pal Lucinda. Holy moly crap - was it good. Thanks LucyLu!!
* I’m currently in week 3 of my Intro to CSS class and it’s harder than I’d like to admit. Damn margins…

I don’t think I have too many tidbits in my life that you’d find very interestin’… Lessee… I’m still waiting for construction to start… I’m having the scrapbooking ladies over on Thursday, if you’re interested in joining us - please do… Jazzercise was HARD yesterday - I’m aching in places I didn’t know I had… The Rock Man is going to be at school today…

Angie will go into labor on Saturday. That’s the day I chose at the shower and besides, it’s the weekend. This reminds me- I missed Lucinda yesterday. I was too busy dealing with my mangled foot.

With the eBay thing, you should be able to re-list once for free (at least that’s how I remember it). You don’t suck! Sometimes it just takes more than 1 listing to sell. I’d watch similar items for a while, and see what they go for and watch what those sellers do that seems to work. Maybe try re-listing one or two at a time to test the waters?
I don’t know if I played your blogroll game before, but it sounds like fun!

Here, I’ve had a great last few days with Hubs and the girls. A little carpool trouble thrown into the mix. But nothing I can’t handle…

Thanks for the update on Meredith. It’s so exciting that another boy is in the works. He’ll be so handsome, just like his big brother.
Don’t get too worried about ebay; I bet you’ll have better luck the second time around. My husband recently put a ton of stuff on ebay and learned a lot. Just a couple of tidbits: 1) make sure your auctions end on the weekend and at a good time during the day (think east vs. west coast times) and 2) make your descriptions interesting and funny. For one item he relisted he practically begged people to take it off his hands, and that the item would be so much “happier” hanging out in someone else’s home. For some reason it worked.
Sounds like quite a bit going on. I am so jealous of the class you are taking. Now you are going to be super duper cool.

I’ve never seen Lost, but it’s my oldest son’s favorite show. Is the first season on DVD yet?

You sold a purse! That’s not so bad, and your average sell price is a lot more than my average sell price. Are you going to relist? I think you should. Sometimes things sell the 2nd time around, and people are even fighting over your items. :yes:
