I will begin answering the questions posed to me in order. The first batch come from my cousin, Meredith.
1. What do you want from Japan? ANSWER ME, DAMNIT!
I want something spicy. Any and all of it.
2. Did I mention there’s a car here called a Carol? There’s another one by Daihatsu called Naked.
As long as there is no “Naked Carol”, we’ll all be okay. (BTW- did you leave that door open on purpose?)
3. Can you give me some topics you’d like me to blog about? My pot is empty.
Our wacky family (my personal favorite), boarding school life, hitchhiking cross country, living in a tent for the summer in Tennessee, living in Ireland, weight issues and how us crazy girls cope, recipes from Japan.
4. Are you really reading that HTML & XHTML book? If so, please keep me in the know about what you’re learning.
My class starts Monday so I have learned nothing yet. My text for the class is on my sidebar and yes, I am reading it. When my class is over, I’ll send it to you if you’d like.
5. Did you know that that there was one bag of goodies in that box for your kiddos that was for the dogs? I hope they didn’t eat it! Egads.
Funny, the man (there is only one here so I can call him that) almost ate them but I stopped him just in time. Lillian loves them. She thinks they are candy. Thank you again for all of the yums.

The second set of questions come from
Twisted Cinderella.
1. Have you ever moved?
Yes, many, many, many times. In the last 10 years, I have lived in 9 different homes. I feel your pain but actually I enjoy the process. Moving to me is always an adventure.
2. What is the best thing that happened to you this week?
It may sound silly, but I helped my Brownie Co-leader get her car started after our Parents Meeting this week. She was panicking and asked to use my cell phone. As she was dialing, I went in to her car and started it up for her. It was just stuck in the wrong gear but she was so happy to not have to get towed. I saved her day and it made me feel very good to do so.
3. Did you ever shoplift as a child?
No, but I did bring home a small toy from a babysitters once and my mom made me feel like hell about it. I promptly returned it the next day and never lifted a thing since.
4. What is one thing you did to get detention in school?
When I was a junior in high school, I was caught smoking in my car with a bunch of girls when we were supposed to be at church. To my credit, we did attend mass, we just left a few minutes early only to be surprised by a teacher tapping on the car window. When I opened it, she was met with a cloud of thick Marlboro Light smoke and we were quickly given detention.
5. What was the last movie you saw?
In the theaters, it was “The Fantastic Four” over the summer. On DVD, it was “Vertigo”.

The next 2 sets will be from Angie and Phoenix.
Happy Saturday!

Great questions, and excellent answers!
1. I used to enjoy moving. But this last move was just awful. Everything went wrong.
2. How cool that you were able to start her car for her!
3. I did once. I felt guilty for years and I was never discovered.
4. It is always fun to hear about people’s younger days.
5. I have never seen either of those movies.
Love the answers MommaK!! Can’t wait for the next batch
“Something spicy”? “DVD: My Life as a Geisha”? “Godzilla Meets Fay Wray”?
K, just checking you out and laughed when I saw #4… I believe I was in that car with you! Love, TT
i hate moving, i don’t know how you do it. hope your having a great day!
You’re taking a class on HTML? Aw, you’re gonna be one of us geeks now. How cute.
I always like learning more about you, girl.
I just now finished watching the movie “Off the Map” and loved it! Thanks for your kind thoughts and comment, MommaK.
When our friends visited from Japan last summer they brought the boys Godzilla dolls and made headbands for them with their names written in Japanese. We had a great time visiting but it just reinforced how far away they really are…. hope you get your package soon!!! I think the only one who’s beaten you at # of times you moved is W!
Great set of Q&A’s!
I second what True Jersey Girl said. Very interesting!
I can’t write about our family or I’ll get in trouble and I don’t like to get in trouble. Also, I’m glad no one ate the dog treats. I saw them in the picture you took and worried. Sorry I missed your call yestereday. Or Nana’s. I wish I could post her messages on your blog. She is challenged by technology for sure.
I once picked up a pack of bubble gum and honestly forgot to pay. I chewed 1 peice and it got bigger and bigger along with my guilt. I started crying and my mother let me go back and pay and say I am sorry.
You have been busy busy around here! Love these lists of questions- but BP’s list tops ‘em all. Guess what? Two episodes of Survivor on TIVO for me! Plus Lost. Talk about catching up to do. And I followed the smell of pineapple mush from Angie’s- yum!
