What I was doing 10 Years ago: I was almost 22 years old and living in a tiny apartment in Maryland with my husband of 1 year and my newborn daughter. My husband was working 2 jobs and we were still just barely scraping by. I can remember looking through K-mart ads just drooling over all of the things I would buy if we had the money.

What I was doing 1 Year ago: I was at my cousin’s wedding party in Pennsylvania. It was a beautiful day that I will always remember fondly. As we were leaving the party and saying our goodbyes Joe, her new husband who was leaving for Iraq in a few weeks, asked my husband and I to “take care of Mere for me” and we said we would. My cousin and I have become very close during this last year and I am incredibly thankful. She is one of the main reasons why I am currently sane.

What I was doing Yesterday: We had my daughter’s birthday party at Build-a-Bear Workshop. Afterwards we took my sisters out to lunch. My youngest sister is moving to Nashville in one week so this was the last time we will all be together until the holidays. It was a fun day but a sad farewell in the mall that left us crying all the way to the parking lot.

5 Snacks I enjoy: Wheat Thins, Twizzlers, Wine & Cheese, Jalapeno Stuffed Olives, Nachos

5 Things I would do with $100 million: Pay off all of my family’s bills (mother, sisters, cousin), invest, give to charity, travel the world first class, buy a huge house on a small island and relax

5 Locations I would like to run away to: Carmel, Bethany Beach DE, New York City, Hawaii, Home

5 Things I like doing: jazzercising, reading, karaoke, blogging, being with family, playing cards

5 Bad habits I have: chewing on hair, being late, putting foot in mouth, falling asleep in the middle of a movie (you would be amazed at the number of movies that I have only seen the first half of…like last night I watched half of “The Aviator” , being a germaphobe

5 Things I would never wear: “slacks”, Chuck Taylors, suspenders, yellow gold, a strap on

5 TV shows I like: Survivor, Big Brother, The Office, Law & Order, 30 Days

5 Biggest joys of the moment: Looking through my pictures from yesterday’s fun, teaching my 6 year old to roller skate, having my older daughter home from camp and knowing that she enjoyed it, hanging out with my husband, having my house clean and organized, heading off to El Agave in a few hours for a fattening Mexican feast (I know - that’s 6 again…I’m also a cheater)

5 Favorite toys: Nikon D70, Siemans SX66 Pocket PC Phone (yes, I can blog from my phone), my Dell, my car, Garmin Street Pilot GPS
