I have morphed into a blogging fiend. I think I may need to stop. Not quit entirely, as my withdrawal symptoms would be too much to bear, but a reduction would be healthy. I need to cut back on my blogging so I can pick up this house that currently lies in tatters around me. I need to stop so I can plan my child’s birthday party, wrap her presents, prepare her goodie bags and make cupcakes for her class. I need to wash my dogs and address my overflowing hampers. My cupboards are bare and my trash is piled high. (just call me Sylvia) My non-blogging friends haven’t heard from me in months and my “to do” list is a mile long. My eyebrows need waxing, my legs need shaving and my right wrist aches at night for some reason.

I am beginning to refer to things that I read and comment on in the blog world as “conversations”. I worry and think about my blog friends when I am out and about. Will Monty land the job she is hoping for? Will Raehan’s foot heal quickly? Is Ol’ Hoss really an 70-something year old man living in an old folks home?? I won’t even go into how much precious sleep I am trading in for blog time. Am I an addict?

Answer me this:
1) How much do you blog a day?
2) Do you consider your blog friends (at least some of them) your real friends?
3) Do you think of commenting back and forth on a blog as “talking to someone”?
4) If you had to choose, would you:

A- go on a strict diet for 30 days or B- quit blogging?
5) Could you quit cold turkey?
