…we finished our cross country car ride and signed the papers on our new home. Here in Virginia, I feel blessed being so close to my family again and having such a great school system for my children to grow up in. I love the change of seasons, the cost of real estate and being able to have Maryland crabs & sweet corn in the summer.

But if I was going to be honest, really honest, I would have to say that there is rarely a day that goes by that I don’t miss the sights, sounds, smells and friends in California. My dream is to one day own a home in Capitola or El Granada overlooking the Pacific with a huge garden filled with aromatic flowers. Maybe you’ll visit me. Someday…
